Converse Love

by Ladybugs   Jun 5, 2011

I remember when my rubber lining was still white
When my all stars sticker still read "Converse"
Sitting on the clearance rack
People passed me by
I watched as the pretty high heels came and went
But I stayed
Until you came in
You lifted me up and gave me a try
I kept you on your feet
Unlike the lousy high heels
You wore me out but I didn't care
I was head over heels for you
Then on day
You grew out of our love
Now I sit on the bench, the side lines
You lace THEM up
With their new white laces
And so this is my story
The love of a shoe
You walked on me and ground me down
But still,
I am in love with you
