Outsider

by Ladybugs   Jun 5, 2011

Hate is the strongest,
of all emotions,
The hate that sneaks up on you
Hate that can make you burn
Out of sight from the
outsiders.
But because of this, hate
you have made everyone an
outsider.
Hate, which offers
NO forgiveness,
Hate which turns around and
slaps you right back in your
sorry face
And before you know how to
shed your hate
You have become an
outsider.
But love
That can lift you up
to higher than the clouds
to higher than the stars
to....love
Love that shares, and hides, and secretly
loves,
that,
birth,
and die,
and flutter in every breath
Because when you have
love, you are no longer an
outsider.
Love is the only thing that can
shatter your heart into
one thousand pieces,
that
never come back together, unless
you let an,
outsider
in.
