Who Knew?
One random comment that brought light into my life.
It all started with a dream and ended on a whim.
I thought you had opened up your heart to me and let me peek inside.
But instead they were just words, words with empty lies.
I tried to reach you, to climb your walls, but you set them on fire and now I am ashes in your mind.
Almost does not
count, I almost reached you, though I could not pull you through.
Words are not enough and pictures fade in time. Why say yes when what you really meant was no?
You can not always trust happiness; it is all just smoke and mirrors. When you think you have found a rainbow clouds block the sun and the illusion is gone.
It is not right for me to cling to you, because I can not hold on to something that never was.
You made me smile and made me feel I could. But you never planned on staying when you said you would.
I am in a place where the lost souls and walking wounded go and the heartbroken sit.
Even before you, I have endured pain no girl ever should, just thought this could be true, but like the rest it was founded on lies.
There has been no explanation; just a wall of silence and it is the silence that is still ringing in my ears.
Many things took away my power to trust but I honestly thought I could trust in you
The journey had ended in pain and emptiness.
