I Hope You Know -

by Snickerpie   Jun 6, 2011

Missing just one,
Reasons left untouched,
Your heart turned cold,
My smile just as much,
Left confused,
Lying on the floor,
Missing something,
You left me wanting more.
For the first time,
It was wrong to be right,
Everything crashes down,
I don't know what's real,
I'm all alone,
So numb I can't feel,
Happy doesn't exist,
Laughing was yesterday,
Crying is everything,
Colors fade gray,
Afraid of falling,
With lies and a smile.
Pretending is easy,
At least for a while,
Breaking slowly,
Becoming heartless,
Losing hope,
Turning to sadness,
This is my last goodbye.
You ignored my call,
I hope you know,
You are my downfall,
A casket full of blue roses,
A church packed full,
I hope you know,
This isn't my funeral.

This piece had a strong begining and a strong middle but the ending not so strong. It had great detail and I could feel the heartbreak and the longing. It was a great piece just needs a bit stronger ending. That's just my opinion.
