Blossom

by Melpomene   Jun 8, 2011

I find her -
a heart of wild flowers.

Plucking dandelions from
fields of Eden, while
conjuring blossoms
at my feet.

For daisy chains bloomed
upon her pencil -
with a petal
for her thoughts.

She masks herself
a thousand Gardenias
watering skin and
weeding cheeks -

casting nightshade
from my mind and
writing of an
everlasting spring.
