The mirror and the truth

by Dr sarat sonowal   Jun 9, 2011

I hear a thousand voices
I see a thousand faces
When i look around
Can't see a single face
on the mirror
but a shadow all alone
The burning candle
The broken glasses
I have entered a shattered fortress
That was my home before
In and out
Drifting like a wave
I seek the answer of my existence
I look at the mirror
and I find the answer
I was young and handsome
Before i died a long time ago

@Meena, a perfect interpretation, I like the way you read a situation

As I read this, I could picture an old man looking into his past, it could also be the past has taken out so much life from a person making him cripple to face the future...just my interpretation...good write!
