When It's Over

by Some Random Human   Jun 10, 2011

With a broken mirror,
distorting your reflection,
that's when you see clear,
all your indiscretions,
when the end is near,
you chose the wrong direction,
and then no one hears,
your last confession,

What are you gonna do,
when it's over,
when the tide comes in,
and no one takes your hand,
what are you gonna do,
when it's over,
when your time is up,
and your glass runs out of sand,

With a bloody hand,
and guilt ridden conscience,
no one understands,
the heartbeat of the heartless,
and when God demands,
justice for your lawless,
actions and,
you can't escape all this,

What are you gonna do,
when it's over,
when the tide comes in,
and no one takes your hand,
what are you gonna do,
when it's over,
when your time is up,
and your glass runs out of sand,

Seven years bad luck,
is just the beginning,
forever stuck,
without winning,
cover your head and duck,
stop your grinning,
'cause you've run amok,
now you'll pay for all your sinning,

What are you gonna do,
when it's over,
when the tide comes in,
and no one takes your hand,
what are you gonna do,
when it's over,
when your time is up,
and your glass runs out of sand,

What are you gonna do,
when it's over,
when the tide comes in,
and no one takes your hand,
what are you gonna do,
when it's over,
when your time is up,
and your glass runs out of sand,

With a broken mirror,
distorting your reflection,
that's when you see clear,
time to choose the right direction...
