Stranger

by Some Random Human   Jun 11, 2011

You wrecked my life,
like a car into a tree,
you broke my heart,
and then you buried me,
now you've returned,
looking for redemption,
with all you've burned,
did you think I would listen,

I'm a stranger to myself,
I'm a danger to my health,
and it's only gonna get worse with age,
'cause I'm a stranger to myself,
I'm a danger to my health,
and when I think of you I'm filled with rage,

It's hard to remember,
who I was,
ever since that September,
and it's all because,
of you and your lies,
I see through your disguise,
and I do realize,
there's no truth in your eyes,

I'm a stranger to myself,
I'm a danger to my health,
and it's only gonna get worse with age,
'cause I'm a stranger to myself,
I'm a danger to my health,
and when I think of you I'm filled with rage,

My eyes are black,
from lack of sleep,
like a knife in my back,
when I contract to breathe,
I can see where I'm at,
from a map like view,
I'm as small as a gnat,
don't mean crap to you,

I'm a stranger to myself,
I'm a danger to my health,
and it's only gonna get worse with age,
'cause I'm a stranger to myself,
I'm a danger to my health,
and when I think of you I'm filled with rage,

I'm a stranger to myself,
I'm a danger to my health,
and it's only gonna get worse with age,
'cause I'm a stranger to myself,
I'm a danger to my health,
and when I think of you I'm filled with rage,

You wrecked my life,
like a car into a tree,
now it's my time,
this is my recovery,
I'm tired of this rage,
this anger that I bleed,
I'll step out of this cage,
and I'll set myself free...
