Final Goodbye

by Jessyka   Jun 13, 2011

She hurt so much,
Deep down inside,
But yet still she tried,
She tried to hide.

She hid the feelings inside her heart,
She hid the way she was torn apart,
Her fake smile made everyone believe,
That she was happy as can be.

She sat there thinking of how it was,
How it could have been,
She wondered why he would do this,
After everything together they had seen.

She still loved him,
But he didn't feel the same,
They were nothing to him,
Just a messed up game.

He had hurt her,
Torn her heart straight out,
Just like with his other girls,
She should have listened to her doubt.

She thought they would be together,
Until their final day,
She done everything for him,
But he decided not to stay.

She was only 15,
Not meant to feel this way,
But her feelings grew stronger,
Day after day after day.

She couldn't take much more,
She felt so betrayed,
She hurt deep down inside,
Every minute of every day.

She decided it had to stop,
She put her best clothes on,
Preparing for her final day,
Still felt he was the one.

She scribbled a quick note,
Of why she has to go,
Why live wasn't worth living,
Without his love to know.

"...Tell him I love him,
Tell him I know he wont cry,
For what he has done to me,
I wish he would hurry up and die!..."

"...I love you all I'm sorry..."

She grabbed a picture of him,
Stuck it by her heart,
Slipped out the front door,
And walked into the silent park.

She found the tree,
Carved with love,
Pulled out a knife,
And drew a dove.

Underneath she wrote,
"...Where I die, Draw a dove,
To show you all, I did this for love..."

She tied the rope,
Made it tight,
Climbed the tree,
And said her final goodbye.

As she fell and the rope caught her,
A silent tear rolled down her face,
Saying sorry,
She died in this place.
