Each Little Line

by bRiNgMeToLiFe   Jun 16, 2011

Each little line tells its own little story
Of horrible days, days I didn't find glory.
It tells of the hurts, of the pain I couldn't speak.
The blood falling down brings me relief, so to speak.
I know it's not the way,
that there's better ways to cope
But each little line gives me a sick twisted hope.

Even though this poem was short it said a lot. You weren't overly open with your emotions but you really pulled me in. I felt this poem was about self-harm and it reminded me of my younger self.
