I think poetry has to be an overall structure not just emotion though emotions need to be a factor.

I liked your layout and the concept of what you were trying to say, emotions ran deep. over all You did a great job for a first timer lol I wish I could show you my first:-) Keep it up bro, your talents will aspire as you continue to write

What I look for in a poem is the emotion, and only the emotion, not the structure nor the flow even, if there is a feeling expressed, then nothing ever else matters! This poem was so full of emotions and because of this, I'll rate it 4 :)
