Each Day Brings A New Chance

The thunder rolled in then blew on by
Wind pushed clouds from the sky,
Rain threatened and went away
leaving behind a beautiful day,

Now night settles in...

Silence rumbles in the dark sky
while stars leave trails in sight,
Planets shine from far away
creating a guiding light,

An unknown journey...

Following a path I could not see
walking with faith in my heart,
My mind racing while standing still
comfort and confusion now apart,

The sun brings hope...

A new day begins again
showing that chances return,
The sun rising brings hope
With an open mind I can learn,

My smiles passes on....

Greeting a stranger like a new friend
smiling and looking in their eye,
Hoping they pass this on to another
or at least give it a try
