I look at the trees outstretched to the skies
Their branches caressed
by the winds passing by
The wind gently whispers a message to me
We are one with the planet
you and I and the trees
We are one with the creatures
of the land and the sea
And Mother Earth sustains us
with her planetary gifts
Of the sun and the rain
the moon and the stars
She offers abundance
A place to grow
To reap the benefits
of the seeds we sow
in love and respect for each other
In knowing
that every living thing on this planet
is my sister or brother
