Mystery, Confusion, & Peace

by Jeff Weiner   Jun 21, 2011

The moon strikes down its beams on me
in my mind I now am free,
Stars and planets spin around
comforting me without a sound,

Thunder to the east
Lightning to the west,
In between is a smile
now there will be some rest,

She stole my heart with one look
caressing my soul with a glare,
not realizing how powerful
was her effortless stare,

Confusion is where I live these days
enjoying the time here well,
As long as I appreciate this
There is no fear of living in hell,

Waking to a new joy each day
not worried what the day will bring,
Thinking about that wonderful woman
with the smile that makes my heart sing

Now I know that confusion is love
and the place where I want to live,
Handing my heart over to her
was the easiest gift to give
