Crying Beside You

by Jaison   Jun 21, 2011

I can stand there for the funeral,
And see you wipe a tissue upon your tears.
I can stand there to see you tear up
As you hug the picture frame.

I can stand there in your school,
To see you depressed in every classroom
With teachers and students trying to help you calm down.
I can stand there at the graveyard
To see you kneel beside the grave
And cry out a waterfall with that rose in your hand.

I can stand there to watch you asleep,
And dream with tears running out of your eyes.
But the next morning, I couldn't stand being invisible,
I didn't stand there invisible to see that knife.

I appeared in front of you and gave you a hug
And made that knife release and drop from your grasp.
"Don't feel alone, I am always crying beside you."
With those last words, I disappeared slowly.
One....., then two....., then three
She lifted her arms out to see if it was real.
"My hears grew a blue heart because I miss you and love you."

In the mist of light
My voice blew through the air....
"I love you always, no need to miss me, my tears are yours."
