I'm caught in the middle
how did i get here?
I know how got here
trying to protect a friend
protect her from getting caught
she loved one but then she loved another
The problem is she couldn't break the first lover's heart
and now I'm caught in the middle
in the middle of a lie
as the lie spreads the worst i feel
my conscience is eating at me
i gotta tell him i wanna tell him
he is being played, but what about my friend
i can't betray her, leave her to fix that mess alone
What should i do my mind see-saws back and forth
what about the other lover, what is he to do
he love her with all of his heart, but so does the first she lover
We have a problem here, what is she to do, break one heart or two
or go on living that lie until it finally ends, broken in piece
for who to clean up i might ask? ME!
