I Won't Say It

by Christina   Jun 22, 2011

I absolutely refuse to say it,
What good could it possibly do?
How would it help for me to say,
That I'm in love with you?

I could blush while i smile,
Or flirt till I die,
It's not who I am,
Yet I gave it a try.

I will not say it, I just plain won't,
I'm not that soft of a girl,
I'll struggle along as I've always done,
And laugh when the walls start to whirl.

I cannot flirt or laugh for long,
For every miserable day,
You fail to notice the simple fact,
You've stolen my breath away.

I refuse to say it, not now nor then,
What good can it possibly do?
How will it help for me to say,
I think I'm in love with you.
