I'll Never Quit.

by Poet on the Piano   Jun 24, 2011

Feeling selfish for taking advantage of time.
Every chance I get, I plot silently with the clock,
knowing my eyes can never fade from reality.
The moments come briefly but passionately,
where everyone is convinced I am living normally
when in fact I've found someone like you

(and I can't quite let go of the memory of your arms,
a warming embrace that deepens my will to stay )

I've never stopped thinking about you,
even when weights push me down at every angle...
I may layer my inside, but you are always in the center,
a core essential part of me burning, alive for me.

Firs to be honest on previuos i thought you were male so i am sorry for that lol. this is the last poem i have looked at. No man forgets the women he has loved and he never really stops loving them. you are a kind of woman a man can never forget just for how powerful these emotions you have are..congrats great piece of art
