Final Day

by Some Random Human   Jun 29, 2011

It took me so long to,
realize I'm not to blame,
'cause I could never change you,
you'll always be the same,
so why am I still trying,
to make you see the light,
in the end you'd leave me dying,
all alone in the night,

But I'm finally fed up,
finally had enough,
no more to be your slave,
this is your final day,

So here I go,
I'm leaving you,
all I know,
is that I'm through,
no more pain,
no more hate,
won't die in vain,
won't meet that fate,

'Cause I'm finally fed up,
finally had enough,
no more to be your slave,
this is your final day,
I'm finally done for good,
finally understood,
you're just a disease,
killing what you please,

Well, it's over now,
you were an evil queen,
but you can take your bow,
'cause I won't be your king,
and now it's plain to see,
that your reign is done,
all you brought was misery,
no more lies, now I'm the one,

And I'm finally fed up,
finally had enough,
no more to be your slave,
this is your final day,
I'm finally done for good,
finally understood,
that you're just a disease,
but now I've got you on your knees,

It took me so long to,
realize that you're to blame,
and I could never change you,
you'll always be the same,
but now I'm done with trying,
to make you see the light,
and I will leave you dying,
all alone tonight...
