Gone

by Lemondropit   Jun 30, 2011

I see your face.
Is it just a dream?
It is not my place.

Gone is how you loved me.
Rough as the sea,
Gentle as the lamb,
Is how you loved me.

My life
Was turned upside down
And filled with strife.

Gone is your trust.
The blame game,
Is how you play.

You have been gone
Far too Long

Gone is the Love.
We floated on wings of doves.
Swooping and soaring,
Living life to the fullest.
That was our love.

When I look in your eyes,
I see the combat I feel now.
But it's hard to rise.

Gone is the way you held me.
So strong and gentle
Was the way you held me.

Why did the love stop?
I dont't think it was meant to.
The best thing that happened to me
Was you.

What happened?
Can you tell me?
Do you know?
Can you see?

Gone is us.
It will never be again.
Was it a sin?
No.
Never Again.
