The Power of Two

by Lemondropit   Jun 30, 2011

Why are there other numbers?
Two is the perfect pair.
Others are odd, some
Are even and walk on air.

A little boy and a little girl,
Walking down the street.
Hand in hand
Smiling at everyone they meet.

Eyes of crystal blue
Hair of curls fair
Her smile so sweet
Leaving people standing there
To stop and stare.

Eyes like glass of the sea
Hair of mahogany wood
His heart so brave and true
He did everything he should

The two together, a perfect pair
No one came between them
For they treated all fair

Together, they were unstoppable
So beatiful, so pure
The love they shared was incrediable
So graciously true

Why are there other numbers?
Two is the perfect pair.
Others are odd, some
Are even and walk on air.
