In Your Hands Oh Lord.

by Poet on the Piano   Jul 1, 2011

.

I can't keep this battle up,
fighting with myself
putting up barriers
acting as I'm made of stone.

But in the corners of my mind:

Happy, hope, courage
collapses
until I am begging for a chance
to slip away invisibly,
taken by suicide plans that remain a secret.

I'm not strong enough,
please help me be like you, Lord.
I'm too selfish
too wandering
to be anything on my own.

I need you.
I desire you.

.

Inspired by my favorite artist Matthew West from his album "Story of your life". This song is called "Strong Enough". "WE can do all things through Christ who gives me strength".
Please listen, you won't regret it, the voice of God speaks through him to us all.

I LOVE Philippians 4:13! Something I think of often when I'm really down and frustrated - He provides when it's in His will for you. Beautifully written and a great inspiration!
