NOT STRONG ENOUGH

I should be strong in facing the fact,

That this is now the end of us.

I should be strong in keeping my heart intact,

Because it is its beating that I don't trust..

I can be strong in walking away,

Away from all of your lies and excuses.

I can be strong come what may,

Endure even my heart's sighs and cries..

I'm trying to be strong in living w/o u,

I'm trying to be strong because I know I have to.

I'm trying to be strong for my very self,

To be able to face the future that lies ahead..

But i guess I wasn't that strong enough,

To just forget the person I learned to love.

I wasn't that strong enough to just let go and move on,

Because I know in my heart, it's still YOU all along..
