Beaten and abused I could only see Beaten and abused How come you didn't flee I could only see the pain that you felt I could only see from your various welts Beaten and abused you kept going back Beaten and abused you'd receive another whack How come you didn't flee from that awful place How come u didn't flee you used make-up on your face Beaten and abused you needed some help Beaten and abused you could only yelp You needed some help why didn't you get some You needed some help you knew who the pain came from Beaten and abused you tried to find a way Beaten and abused to get through each day You could only yelp as he hurt you each time You could only yelp as he committed this crime Beaten and abused I finally took your hand Beaten and abused we had to take a stand I finally took your hand we told the authorities I finally took you hand and straightened out your priorities Beaten and abused you would be no more Beaten and abused no longer thrown to the floor We had to take a stand and that is what we did We had to take a stand we saved you and your unborn kid Copyright 2004 Hannah
