Nobody

by Carrie   Jun 21, 2004

Nobody sees the tears,
I wipe them away.
Nobody sees the scars,
I hide them away.
Nobody knows my greatest fear,
I lie it away.
Nobody knows the real me,
I hide her away.
Under the makeup and the smile,
Shes crying and screaming.
Scars on her hip,
Caused by a knife so long ago.
Tears streaming down her face,
Loneliness her best friend.
Her greatest fear,
Being alone.
Nobody knows who she is,
Except me.
