A Summer's Prayer

The sun goes down
On another summer's day
I sit in my car
I wait and pray

"Please God, forgive me
I sin too much,
All I long for
is your touch
I pray you show me
the one for me
The one who will love me
for who I am
and love you as much as I
I pray I know you better everyday."

"Thank you Lord."

    I love the innocence of this write- sometimes it seems impossible to sit down and face God, call out His name and lay down your heart like that....but you want to understand love through people, see it work through your eyes.

    A true blessing/thoughtful prayer.
