Tiny Fingers

In my mind I see you
running all around
Smiling smiles that tell of love
A face that never frowns.
I see a lot of mischief
and days of feeling worn
as you've already caused some changes
and you're not yet even born.
I never show emotion
just not something I do
but know that while I seem nonchalant
That I would die for you
I cannot wait to see you
to know that you're alright
just grasp me with your tiny fingers
you'll have me around for life.
