A fly landed on my tea;
I apologized for getting in his way.
It's kind of funny how a human
Will pick up a rock and throw it,
And not think twice
About if it is suppose to be there.
Compared to how a human
Will step on a critter
For the sole purpose that it is bigger;
More so along those lines.
A human doesn't have but a space,
But many spaces.
Desk tops, tree tops,
Building tops, cloud tops.
We expect the world around us
To lay at our feet.
The world of critters, bugs, and animals.
We confine them to a spot,
We give the wild a place
And destroy them in our space.
We train them for amusement,
And we see them and abuse them,
All because we don't want them in our space.
An animal will kill another to survive.
A human will kill another just to watch him die.
An animal attacks its prey and eats them.
A human will watch them suffer alive.
An animal can sit still,
While a human is always wild.
Just a moment ago I sat down
Next to a small table outside.
The left overs of a lemon cake
Scattered on the table beside me.
A fly in the area is smelling the cake,
And got distracted by my tea;
I apologized for getting in his way.
