Rescue.

by Poet on the Piano   Jul 9, 2011

.

Closed light
buried liberty,
needless pride.

There are only a few
who still hold onto their wings,
bowing
with wisdom...
not pitching their faith
to feel the fall.

See that daylight
is coming
round the sea,
encompassing
the central angles
of distraught chaos-
a bundled up heart.

There is more
than raised war,
more than a last sign,
we break the shell
and wage a secret-
guidance
in ready hands.

I see the appocolyps in this poem, or a war just like it, and to get through these tough times, we need each other to get by, as always, love your poems, a 5/5 indeed. and you know the deal, keep writting, and I'll keep reading.

makes me think of my ownself, nd how jumbled I am, and how bottled I feel!
    this is art.

And your closing verse left a huge impact, indeed there is more than everything, that the word loss itself, and gain it self,,
and definitely more than a last sign..

your most sad words, gives me hope..
    due to its wisdom! thanks
