Dream Catcher

by Fire Catches   Jul 9, 2011

Lay your weary eyes to bed, no need to worry about nightmares
We will sing a melody that scurries them off, you'll wipe away happy tears

Forget about your worries, you're beyond them. Let them chase you in a fun game
Just remember who you are, don't let these burdens change you. You are original, not the same

Stay up after midnight, go into the quite dark. Close your eyes open your ears. Listen.
Let the universe tell you its secrets that it desperately needs to share of things that you're missing.

Put down the drugs, and drain the alcohol. Those do not define your integrity.
We all have a story to share, to be heard, but the best ones told are triumph, not tragedy.
You are articulate, so use your voice. Overcome these hardships and prove them wrong.
No need to be scared, we're here. This might seem impossible, but it won't be long.

I'll be your dream catcher.
