Precious one

by The Po whet   Jul 10, 2011

Out in the dark of the night seated,
birds chirping seranading the peaceful night,
the sky above, stars twinkles, the moon shines,
the panorama splendid as always,
my mind wonders into contemplations.

the distance between us two,
dan to beersheba is no equal,
the hollowness within mine heart can only be filled by thee,
like an oases to the dry desert,
so is your love to my empty heart.

azure is the colour of your eyes,
your grin incompareable to the cheshire cat,
in thee i find mine solace,
in thee i'll confide,
a spring you are,a fountain from where my desires flow.

gold,silver nor diamond,
nor valuable gems like ruby or emarald,
none i can trade for the exchange of thy worth,
a relic you are to me,
a chest full of treasures below the deep sea.
