A friend like you is hard to find
your words and actions are always so kind.

^ I'd recommend you to remove the "so" because it sounds and flows better like this.

When we laugh together,
it brightens up my day.
Knowing you are in my life,
makes me feel ok.

^ Flow and rhyme are alright in this part. Though the last verse seems to be a bit short compared to the rest but that is okay.

So i guess I am saying thank you,
for all you have done for me.
Life can actually be rather amazing,
this you have helped me see.

^ I liked this part most. It seems to finish your poem perfectly: first mentioning all the positives about your friend and now thanking him/her for all that. All in all I think this is a good poem.

I'm sure everybody can relate to your words. It's always good to have a close friend you can rely on and have fun with. Especially when they are even their in your tough times and support you as good as they can rather than just watch you suffer.
