Seasons

by Jay Sei   Jun 22, 2004

Rain can able itself to grow beautiful,
But when the source runs from your eyes,
A black starless night sneak into my dreams
And awakes me to another sleepless night.

This too shall pass and never come back.

My soul tethered itself in the heat of a summer day.
And we’ve fallen apart like a leaf in the eyes of autumn.
We grew cold and dark like a winter night
But it will melt in the witness of our hopes.
Just like it always does.

You run the rhythm of my heart beat.
And to leave you will leave me heartless.
I will grow weary of the untruthful smile.
Chimes from your broken heart leave me deaf.

Breaches stood behind the door I almost opened.
Kill me if you want the key I’ve swallowed.
