Five Stages of Grief

by Poempete   Jul 15, 2011

Five stages

Denial is the first stage
all in shock and disbelief
It hasn't really happened...
you'll walk in, we'll feel relief

Anger is the second stage
Why me this isn't fair?
There's no point looking up to God
She doesn't fcuking care

Bargaining is third in line
You'll do anything it takes,
To change the fact that they are dead
No matter what the stakes

Depression is the fourth stage
Dwelling on your loss
And wallowing in misery
Thinking no one gives a toss

Acceptance is the final stage
Waiting quietly in line
It might take you a while to reach
But feel free to take your time

It's supposed to be about the five stages of grief that apparently most people go through, although they may not realise it. Thanks for taking the time to read it and comment.
