A Cinquain

by Corina   Jul 16, 2011

He’s dead
Dead forever
Died in a cruel war
I am very sad and lonely
Gone, lost

His eyes
Big, round, blue eyes
Forever closed and gone
Wish that I could see them again
Blue eyes

His smile
Nice, beautiful, kind lips
Never to speak again
I miss his golden, caring smile
Dimples

His voice
Softly spoken
No more words, no-one there
I miss the talks we used to have
Quiet words

My wonderful brother
Such a hero in times of need
Brother.

Late 2006.

Was to go with a short story I wrote about world war 2
