True love of last February

by Raphael Alava   Jul 17, 2011

True love of last February
Was rekindled six months past
In a world filled with mystery and wonder
Where she’d remember me last

Good friends we remain
But not close ones at that
My heart aches in pain
Of the love that had never last

But if she’d pause for just a moment or two
Then maybe she’ll think of me
And realize that I have loved her to this very day
And maybe her love for me
Shall someday
End all my dismay
