Alcohol

by Innocent Fairy   Jul 21, 2011

You have a bottle in your hand
And you drink yourself to sleep
With each sip you take the more you break
Black clouds your eyes
Numbness is what you feel
A whisper says it's time but you say
I haven't said goodbye
There's no time but you fight
Now you see the pain that you create
You are forgiven
But now sleep is eternity
And you realize alcohol has a bigger price
You have a bottle in your hand
And you drink yourself to sleep.

Poets notes:
This is made foe and inspired by my grandma and I hope it will influence many people and hope you enjoy it :)

I liked it and it speaks the truth. Nicely worded. I see nothing wrong with it other then you might want to break it up into 2 or 3 different stanzas. Other then that it is good.
