Barfly

by brie kelly wise   Jul 21, 2011

Little baby barfly
got high off the moonshine,
and left for the morning flight
Daffodil in a flute, whiskey sours.
Blue vine wrists reaching
a lantern, a gusto, a burning afterglow.
But the light of a thousand years ago,
it has died.
