I gave you someone that you could always turn to,
I was your friend and I always stayed true.
I gave you comfort when you were down,
You turned me away and beat my heart into the ground.

I cared like no one else would for you,
I guess this is what "Just Friends" are supposed to do.
I cleared your cloudy vision when you couldn't see,
But you never realized that you meant the world to me.

Time has passed and some years go by,
You crossed my path as I seen you cry.
You ask me for another when I know you lied,
I gave you multiple and now you know that I Tried.
