Ghost

by Jack Nightengale   Jul 22, 2011

What's to fear when you don't care
How can you fear death when it's not even there

How can you care for someone when you don't mean it
When they walk out the door you don't chase them but you just sit

Hold your words because they're useless now
Heres your applause now take a bow

I'm on a plane and off the ground
When I come back you won't see me around

Of all people I disliked you the most
Now, stop thinking of me so that I can stop being a Ghost

"stop thinking of me so that I can stop being a Ghost"

^ the whole poem was a strong write but for me the above line really stood out.
