Temporary Heart

by PinkyPrincess   Jul 22, 2011

It comes and goes
- just like the wind -
Goosebumps arise
from fear and pleasure.

Sweet, romantic tone
can make me giggle.
Without a transition,
the angry tone appears.

Moods transform
From happy to sad
in seconds, that feel
like light years.

Your constant love
used to fill my soul.
But as apathy grows,
my body is wilting.

It may be short-term,
but I still yearn for it.
It gives me a feeling
that I cannot fathom.

You must have a
temporary heart
that grows from love
but dissolves from anger.

I loved this! I loved the first stanza where you explained how you get goosebumps from two completely different emotions. I thought that was unique and creative. Nice write.
