Never found forever

I drowned in lust
Swore it all off
It found me
In spite of my denial
Without fear
Love

It came so easily
So naturally
Like the passing of time
No matter how I fought it
It slipped by
Walls falling

I fell into you
Your softness
Everything I thought I knew
Gone
There was still no fear
It was so easy

I knew it had to end that way
If ever it must end
Like dying in my sleep
Drifting into an unwaking dream
Where maybe we still exist
Or never did
It's the only way I could face it
