Contradiction

by Some Random Human   Jul 28, 2011

I find I'm talking to strangers,
when I talk to myself,
and even though I'm in danger,
I won't call out for help,
I won't give in to this anger,
but I'm screaming inside,
I've got no room for a hangar,
but I'm wanting to fly,

Life is a contradiction,
it never seems to make any sense,
I am filled with conviction,
for all my mistakes I want to recompense,

I feel I'm going in blind,
when I come well prepared,
and I'm falling behind,
in this Solitaire,
now I'm breaking the rules,
but it's still unfair,
'cause I gave you my all,
but you just don't care,

Life is a contradiction,
it never seems to make any sense,
I am filled with conviction,
for all my mistakes I want to recompense,

I feel I'm falling down,
when I'm firm on my feet,
like I'm gonna drown,
while I walk down the street,
it may look like I'm whole,
but I am incomplete,
lost my heart and my soul,
though I prayed to replete,

Life is a contradiction,
it never seems to make any sense,
I am filled with conviction,
for all my mistakes I want to recompense,

I find I'm talking to strangers,
when I talk to myself,
and even though I'm in danger,
I won't call out for help...
