Withered Rose

by XxxWordsOfWisdomxxX   Jul 30, 2011

Take a smile
An untouched heart
Kiss it hello
Then tear it apart

A sweet lie told
A memory made
It was all just a part of your masquerade

What once was hope
Has now run dry
To faith and trust
I say goodbye

All because of your desperate game
My wishful heart has now been tamed

Thanks to you
My love is torn
And this budding rose
Is withered and worn
