Thank You

This poem is for a person who understands what I'm going through and me and her both know the pain of the love of our life leaving us. you know who you are!!! this is my way of thinking you!!

Late at night when i thought that i had nothing left to do
but lie down and dream,
i found you on the internet and began an conversation.
you made me realize that i knew what i wanted and that
all i really needed was closure.
but understanding you were,
never saying i was wrong, just listening...
that's all i ever really wanted was for someone to listen and understand.
what a job you did.
I now know, that yes it is hard even for you to let go.
Never do they leave your heart
Never do they part,
but its up to us to be the stronger ones,
and slowly let go.
Painful I'm sure it will be
expecially when they are all we think about
when our eyes close at night
but in the end we will be happy and they will wish they never let us go.
Happy is what we will be.
