Paper Emotions

by Danielle   Jun 22, 2004

Covers of books are looked down upon
Thinly glazed with paper mache
the spine is so ghostly real
Imagination gently fades away

Worry is written on each new page
Titles of emotions see the inside
So closely related to the truth
There's nothing left to hide

Betrayal between all the sheets
Comes from victims next in line
They crinkle the paper to shape
The story says when it's their time

Writing unveils what it holds
It conquers, the light has changed
Rain enticed with passion
The feathered pen has created new age
