Show me a place where I can fly
where I can reach out and touch the sky
Give me a chance to do what I can
For my life has a purpose and I have a plan
But how can I do, when I don't have a sign
How will I choose which plan should be mine
and how will I achieve, this life long goal
how will I know I've completed my soul
All I ask is for a set of wings
To allow me to do, all great things
To help and guide, and show me the way
As I have helped others this very day
To keep me warm and safe from harm
And bring me to peace, turn anger to calm
To show me whats right and what is wrong
To keep my head up and keep my will strong
To forgive and forget whats happened before
To guide me home to the nearest shore
But I wont go alone this paths not for one
I would like all of my loved ones to come
To experience together how life should be
And so all will know what is like be free
All I ask for is a set of wings
For the feeling of comfort that friendship brings
