Magical Beauty

by Cinnamonspice   Aug 2, 2011

Queen of the night
a magical flower laced in
Indian lore painted a
pure white by nature

She appears but once a year
her beauty takes your breath
one glance and your heart soars
captured in her magnificence

The air thick with her perfume
inhaling the redolence
like a drug pulling you in
intoxicating, alluring,addicting

Surrounded by mystery
natures magic trick mystifies
the most brilliant of minds,
her image never forgotten

You must be quick a short
twelve hours and she ghost
from sight for another year
leaving you wanting more.

"A flower that grows in the desert only once a year. People come from all over to see this wonderful miracle returning year after year for just one look."
