I stand convinced there is but one reason,

Why the Sun shines above.

The Sun shines, because,

The Sun is in Love.

When asked, he replied,

He loves us all the same.

When asked, he lied,

Simply to mask his pain.

When alone, with the moon,

The Sun spoke of what was true.

The Sun loves and shines

Only to illuminate You.
