Irreversible.

by Poet on the Piano   Aug 3, 2011

.

Breathing
at all the wrong refrains
sends me into scattered misery...
won't you sing along with me
for one more hope?

Why
have I stumbled
across your kingdom
when the key
to my faith in you...
turned out to be a
too late cheer?

For years I've thought
of nothing but dreaming with you,
look where that has blinded me-

{ in a song weeping with words
that have cracked my impulse }

How can I remember you
as everything but mine?

This is so sad, MaryAnne..so not like you.

You make the reader feel you have been misled in a very profound way and now have to suffer the consequences of your misguided faith towards that other person.

    Well worded, but so sad...

    *hugs*
